Steam wand upgrades for DE1

BengleWand for DE1

The BengleWand DIY upgrade provides several important benefits to DE1 owners.

  • 20% to 30% faster steaming, when using the 3-hole BengleWand steam wand tip. Note: the 1-hole tip is easier for beginners.
  • Easy wipe-clean tip, does not get hot and milk does not stick to it.
  • The ball joint, wand and tip all stay cool enough to touch.
  • Greater range of motion. Smoother.
  • Easily change the tip yourself, with no risk to its cool-touch ability.

    • You will need two spanners that open to 26mm to perform this Do-it-Yourself upgrade. If you don't own these tools, you can buy them from Amazon or from us.

    BengleWand for DE1 with 3 hole tip (black)

    This is a DIY steam wand replacement only for DE1 espresso machines. Not compatible with the Bengle espresso machine. Requires two spanners capable of fitting around 26mm bolts.


    BengleWand for DE1 with 1 hole tip (black)

    This is a DIY steam wand replacement only for DE1 espresso machines. Not compatible with the Bengle espresso machine. Requires two spanners capable of fitting around 26mm bolts.


    1 hole steam wand tip for BengleWand

    This 1 hole tip is about the same speed as the standard metal 1 hole tip. Because the steaming is slower than the 3 hole tip, you have more time to make good microfoam, and thus do not to be highly skilled at steaming to get good results. The tip is not recommended for the DE1XXL, Bengle 240V/10A or Bengle 240V/15A models. Only for BengleWand: not compatible with DE1PRO or DE1XL steam wands. How to change the steam tip


    DE1XL steam wand upgrade for DE1PRO

    This sleek, extra-long steam wand gives you smooth maneuverability and exceptional flexibility. The design makes hands-free steaming easier and accommodates milk jugs up to 1 liter with ease.

    You'll need to install the XL steam wand yourself. We'll provide detailed instructions. Wrenches are included with the purchase. Installation takes about 10 minutes and is straightforward.

    Please note: after it's installed, your machine will no longer fit inside the standard DE1 suitcase v1. You can reinstall the original steam wand if you need to transport the machine. The DE1 suitcase v2 does not have this problem.

    DE1XL Steam Wand Black v2

    Higher flexibility, easier and more professional steaming, with a single-hole steam tip. Available for the DE1PRO.

    Works with both BengleWand and DE1

    3 hole steam wand tip DE1

    This steam tip is recommended for the DE1XXL model. On the DE1PRO and DE1XL models, this steam wand tip will not be any faster, and may give wetter steam.
