When you buy an espresso machine from Decent, you receive an invitation to the owners-only forum. For the past ten years this has been called "Diaspora" and now it's named after the forum software I've written, "dcamp" (it's a pun, get it?) .
The goal of this video is both to explain all the many dcamp features, but also to let potential machine buyers what the community interaction will be like.
Many DE1 reviews have expressed that Decent's community is one of the most valuable aspects of buying a machine from us. However, the Basecamp software we used for the past decade had issues (it was never meant for forums, but for intra-company use), which is why I have been working on a home-brewed forum app for the past six months.
I apologize ahead of time for the AI voice: I tried narrating this myself, but my "performance" is just nowhere near as good as a "voice actor", even an AI one.
