Our built-in profiles are created by coffee experts. Profiling is as easy as pressing a button! These presets are tried and tested: adjusting flow, temperature, and pressure automatically so you can pull excellent shots right away.
Real data at the puck, instantly
Our machines measure temperature data right at the puck with three probes for accuracy, giving you instant and reliable insight into what is actually happening.
When you make a coffee, the machine displays a graph that shows how the shot is going, with real-time temperature, pressure, and flow rate data.
As you learn how to interpret the visual information, you can make adjustments, experiment with different grinds, or create your own pressure or flow curves. The Decent adapts to you from your first shot to your perfect shot and not the other way around.
The DE1
The quest to build the Decent Espresso machine started in 2016. Our goal was to build a software-driven machine with premium hardware that made consistent, great espresso. To make it scientifically precise without being complicated. The software and functionality of all the DE1 models are very similar, with only a few key differences.
Our very first machine was the DE1+, which was replaced by the DE1PRO, followed by the larger DE1XL and the more powerful DE1XXL.
Ever since its launch, our DE1 line has delivered exceptional espressos in homes and cafes around the world. Its compact frame and versatility make it an optimal choice in small spaces or events.
Even years after its original release, we still offer hardware and software upgrades to continue improving your espresso. Made to be a truly buy-it-for-life machine, we also offer exceptional support for any maintenance that you may need.

From DE1 to Bengle
Our premium model — Bengle — is set to release in 2026. Years of dedicated research and development have gone into Bengle's water pump technology, our own innovative design delivers a 20ml/s flow rate while running almost silently.

Steams like a pro
Super hot, dry steam at 160 °C (versus the standard 120 °C) creates silky microfoam, ready for latte art. You can even adjust the wetness of the steam.

Our DE1 models have a compact footprint: on a counter, countersunk, or in a coffee cart. While you can use your machine without any plumbing (refilling your water tank is easy), you can also connect a Decent machine to a water tank, pressurized water, and a drain kit.
Versatility across coffee styles (and tea, too!)
Our machines can also emulate well-known espresso machines and espresso styles through our built-in profiles, including filter coffee, tea, and even hot chocolate.
Temperature adjustment made easy

Press a button and switch instantly from a high-temp light roast to a low-temp dark roast profile. You can also quickly adjust the overall brewing temperature for each profile just by pressing a button.
