Decent introduces its own pump design for upcoming Bengle model
After three years of R&D, our own designed-for-espresso water pumps will be appearing in our forthcoming Bengle espresso machine.
These pumps were purpose-designed for espresso with temperature profiling. The key benefits include:
- Very quiet operation and perfectly smooth flow.
- Precision flow control, from drop-by-drop (0.1mL/s) to ultra-fast (20mL/s).
- Each movement of the motors moves a known amount of water, so flow calculations are precise and deterministic.
- A new approach to temperature profiling built into the pumps' design. Your coffee puck reaches its goal temperature faster and more accurately.
- Runs on DC electrical current, thus delivering the same performance worldwide, on all types of electricity.
The release schedule for Bengle has been adjusted to May/June 2026, so that this technology can be built into our v1.0 Bengle version.
