While the standard profile configuration page displays global settings by default, there is a hidden feature that allows you to control temperature at individual extraction stages. By tapping on the thermometer icon on the editor screen (see picture below), the software reveals the specific target temperature for each step at the coffee puck.
The pre-infusion step explicitly features a starting temperature and an ending temperature. This design choice was implemented because the first 10 seconds of an extraction are the most critical part of the brewing process. Providing two separate values gives baristas precise control over the thermal profile during this initial saturation window.
Tapping any of the displayed step temperatures opens a dedicated chart where you can adjust individual numbers as desired. If you make a mistake or want to undo your changes, you can simply tap the thermometer icon to turn the feature off, reverting the shot to a single global temperature. Tapping it back on resets all individual step values to match your normal global defaults.
