Catalan and Austrian German languages added, Hebrew version greatly improved and is now useable (thanks to Roy)
A ”Steam Only” profile was added, which keeps the hot water heater off, for when you only want to use the steamer, and not make coffee.
a new “night” mode to Smart Charging, which will (for most people) keep the tablet display from turning on, if they have been manually turning the screen off with the tablet's power button.
new Flow Calibrator plugin from Damian helps you easily determine the optimum flow calibration number, if you own a bluetooth scale.
New App Setting to disable the “Dim screen when battery low” built in feature
Improvements to “Innovative Long Preinfusion” profile to make it easier to dial in, by using a Pressure Limiter setting.
Feature: “popup message” in each step of advanced shots, can be text or a variable such as: $weight, $volume, $timer.
Five profiles (including Blooming, Adaptive) now use the new “popup message”feature to show “current weight in cup, as dripping ends” (if you have a bluetooth scale attached) as this is quite helpful in dialing in those profiles.
Blooming and Adaptive descriptions now mention the optimal amount of dripping.
Feature: allowed steam timeout to be 0=off, whereas previously 1 second was the minimum allowed
“Eco-steam” option lowers idle power consumption by 20%.
It brings your steam heater temperature down to 135ºC after 10 minutes of your machine being hot and idle.
The steam heater will rise to your requested temperature as soon as you do anything (make espresso, touch tablet)
And so, for most people, there is no downside to enabling this feature
However, there is also no reason to use the Eco-Steam feature is you turn out DE1 on/off as you need it.
This feature is most helpful if you leave your DE1 on all day, but there are periods (over ten minutes) where nobody makes an espresso.
For example, this feature has worked very well at the Decent HK, where 30 people use two machines.
By default, Eco-Steam is NOT ENABLED, but can be found on the 2nd page of the Machine->Calibration settings.
