First listen: the quite Decent pump.
You asked for a quiet espresso pump, so we listened!
Three years in the making, this pump is practically inaudible at normal espresso water flows. Only at the very-very fast flow rate of 15mL/s can you start to hear it softly working.
We have a bottle slowly dripping in the background, so you have a volume reference.
We put cloth in the cup, so that the dispensed water wouldn't make a sound, otherwise the water dripping sound would totally overwhelm the sound the pumps make.
We also recorded this same scene with Ben's phone, and the machine is totally inaudible from 2 meters distance. That's why we put microphones directly next to the espresso machine.
