From V1.4 to v1.42, all Decent Espresso machines had the screwed-in (DE1XL) tablet stand. DE1XL machines had this stand from the beginning to v1.42.

All owners of those machines can decide to swap their tablet stand to Sheldon's version.

After making the cup rail, there was request for a simplified version that only holds the tablet. As shown, the tablet stand is made of aluminum with matte black powdercoat.

The tablet stand is mounted on top to keep the front clean and clear for the touch controls. It sits about the same as the stock.

Stand is screwed into existing holes; new black screws will be provided.

Screws are black oxide steel, so please keep them dry to prevent corrosion.
