If you have an issue with the machine boot-up please check these 2 things below
1) If there is enough water in the water tank.
Even though you use the refill kit, there should be enough water in the tank when you turn the machine on. The refill kit will be detected once the machine passed the booting test properly.
If there is not enough water, the machine will get air into the pumps. That will make a very aggressive noise.
2) If the front button is on before turning the back switch on.
V1.4 and later DE1 machines have the front standby/emergency button. \
It's important that the front button is ON BEFORE turning the back switch on. The front button controls the AC board power.
So if it's not on, the machine will consider that the AC board is not working as it's off.
Since this is the case, it won't serve to push the front button during the booting stage. Because, as the machine already thinks that the AC board is not working, it won't detect that the front button was just turned on.
Consequently, the GHC will show the Yellow LED and get stuck at 9~10 o'clock.
So always have the front button on ON before you turn on the machine via the back switch.
For V1.4~V1.43 machines, the front switch should be OUT to be ON.
For V1.44 and later-version machines, the front switch should be IN to be ON.
So if your machine gets stuck at the yellow light during boot-up, you can just restart it using the proper sequence.
