In this video, we'll walk you through how to clean and replace the drain valve on your Decent Espresso Machine.
You'll need to clean the valve if:
The drain valve remains open during shots.
The drain valve doesn't open when the shots end, causing pressure to stay trapped in the group head.
If cleaning or decalcifying doesn't resolve the issue, the valve will need to be replaced.
This video is part of a series that we produce, helping people self-repair their Decent Espresso Machine.
Only do this repair in consultation with Decent tech support
Doing otherwise might break your machine or void your warranty.
