DE1 drip tray v2 fittings how-to
Draining drip tray v1 and V2 use totally different drains.
- V1 has it moulded in ceramic,
- whereas V2 has a hole in the ceramic, and then metal parts and washers to seal the hole.
The main advantage of v2 is that the drain tube can be installed more easily and securely, whereas on the v1 drip tray, the drain hole must be completely dry to prevent the tube from slipping off, and a cable tie is required to lock the black tube in place.
