Weber (and others) sell smaller mirrors that you can place on the drip tray. Those are popular, but I prefer an integrated approach.
We use a die-cut mirror, that is attached with double sided tape, and we put it on the upward-facing lip on the drip tray. The mirror edges can become degraded with time, or scratched with use. We expected that, which is why we made it easily replaced. And, as long as you're under warranty, we'll send you a free mirror lip if yours should ever become damaged (even if you caused the damage!).
This video shows you how to remove the mirror, and replace it with a new one. The process just takes a few minutes, and requires a hair drier, and a knife.
