Cosmopolitan
A vodka-based cocktail with orange liqueur, lime juice, cranberry juice, and simple syrup. It is tart and lightly sweet (off-dry), with moderate strength at about 15% ABV.
Lime, cranberry and Cointreau make it tart and fruity, without the dill or pepper notes.
- Same: 2 oz vodka.
- Different: Buddha's Hand vodka instead of gold vodka; Cointreau, lime, cranberry juice and simple syrup instead of dill and punsch; shaken, served up in a coupe with an orange twist.
Tao of Pooh
A vodka-based drink mixing manuka honey vodka, coconut water, lemon bitters, and Galliano. It has no acidity, is off-dry, and is moderately alcoholic at about 14% ABV.
Coconut water and Galliano make it lighter and more diluted, with honey, vanilla and anise notes instead of dill and pepper.
- Same: Vodka, stirred on ice.
- Different: 1.5 oz honey vodka; coconut water, Galliano and lemon bitters instead of dill and punsch; strained into a coupe.
Vauvert Slim
A low-proof herbal citrus cocktail built on Green Chartreuse with grapefruit and lime juices, egg white, mint, and a Scotch float. It is tart, lightly sweet, and low-proof at about 8% ABV.
Grapefruit, Green Chartreuse and mint make it tart, herbal and frothy, with smoke from the Scotch rinse, instead of dill and pepper.

Crimson Tide
A rum-based cocktail made with overproof rum, spiced sorrel, ginger liqueur, lime juice, and club soda. It is tart, lightly sweet, and moderate in strength at about 15% ABV.
Sorrel, lime and ginger make it tart, spicy and fruity, and more diluted, instead of dill and pepper.
- Same: A base spirit with a sweet liqueur.
- Different: 1.5 oz overproof rum instead of vodka; spiced sorrel, lime, ginger liqueur and club soda instead of dill and punsch; shaken, over ice in a Collins glass with lime wheel and candied ginger.
